Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure the well-being and progress of students.
- Offer one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
- Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to the teaching team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, especially in a Special Educational Needs setting.
- Understanding of various Special Educational Needs and strategies to support diverse learning styles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special education are desirable.
