As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
- Support students in their academic and social development, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- Supporting students with various complex needs including, ASD, PMLD, SEMH Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs would be a preference.
- Knowledge of various learning difficulties and strategies to support them.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with SEN students.
- An understanding of safeguarding procedures. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
