We are looking for a Band 7 Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, or someone who aspires to become a Band 7 specialist pharmacist and is willing to work towards this specialist post.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to manage and support the development of Clinical Pharmacy and Medicines Management initiatives across the Trust. This pharmacist will have a great opportunity to develop their Specialist Clinical skills within pharmacy and various clinical specialities. There is a strong focus on staff as individuals. We want all our staff to have the ability to reach their full potential and share with others the great work they do.

As part of this post you will be expected to partake in on-call commitments; Bolton is one of only a few trusts who still follow Whitley pay for on-call.

Provides specialised clinical pharmacy services.
Directly manages and supervises the professional services and activities carried out by Clinical Pharmacists and trainee pharmacists, technicians and support staff, to wards and departments.
The post holder is responsible for ensuring that at all times standards are maintained, particularly with respect to statutory professional and legal requirements, to ensure that a high quality service is provided in a consistent and equitable manner to all service users.
