We are seeking three Specialist Educatorsin Engineering Power Networks to deliver a case load of taught delivery, practical activity and support tutorials per week, with the remainder of the hours spent on preparation and marking.

Professional experience and expertise is what we need – training in teaching and assessment for higher education will be provided, along with in-class mentoring and support for preparation of materials and activities.

There is potential for delivering at other locations, so it may be necessary to work at employers’ premises in the UK for up to four weeks at a time. Accommodation will be provided and travel expenses to and from the site each week will be paid. You will need a valid UK driving license and access to your own transport.

You will be required to have at least one of the following qualifications/ experience

  • An electrical engineering degree and extensive professional experience in power generation, networks, distribution or high current / high voltage applications, or
  • An electrical engineering HNC or HND and extensive professional experience in power generation, distribution or high current / high voltage applications, with some supervisory experience, or
  • An extensive professional experience in power generation, distribution or high current / high voltage applications, with extensive supervisory experience.

Important Information
