Specialist Mental Health Practitioner

This is an exciting opportunity at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) as we strive towards an outstanding model of care for people affected by Mental Health and their families. We are looking for exceptional Mental Health professionals with extensive experience who can support the Lead Nurse for Mental Health in the delivery of effective clinical support to ward teams to enhance the care to patients across all three of our divisions (Medicine, Surgery and Family and Clinical Support Services)

The Team
The post holders will work in collaboration with system partners to support the Lead Nurse for Mental Health in developing the provision of care for people with Mental Health needs across HHFT. This is a newly established nurse led service, which the successful candidates will play a key role in shaping and developing.
We are seeking to recruit senior professionals who have the passion and tenacity to improve the care and safety of patients. The service will provide seven day a week cover providing expert advice, hands on role modelling and supporting best practice across all departments. Each Specialist Practitioner will play an important role working across all sites, Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover. The areas of specialism include:
