Job description

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic midwife with excellent communication skills and organisational abilities to join our team as Specialist Midwife for Practice Development to cover maternity leave. This post will require cross-site working.
The role in United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is to devise and facilitate the delivery of a Training Needs Analysis that identifies the Professional Development and training needs of the multi-professional team working within the Maternity Services. The post holder will work alongside the Head of Midwifery & Nursing, the Heads of Service, Consultant Midwife, the Maternity Matrons, Ward and Department Managers in supporting new staff to the Maternity Service.
The role will require close working with the multi disciplinary team and to act as a resource for clinical advice and professional direction within maternity care
