To work as an integral member of the Team Process referrals from health and social care colleagues and client/carer self referrals Ensure all referrals are risk assessed and managed with appropriate, timely interventions Respond to OT specific assessment and short-term OT interventions e.g. provision of equipment, in a responsive, timely manner Prioritise referrals Carry out follow up visits as required Respond to high priority referrals quickly, efficiently and effectively Ensure adherence to standards, policies and procedures Carry out specialist seating assessments and prescription orders Refer on to Specialist community team or local authority OT for longer term interventions or major adaptations As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want to be sure that you can work in a way that is best for us and for our patients, and for you.
