Salary An exciting opportunity has arisen for twoexperienced band 6 MSK physiotherapists to join our team.You will work in the MSK department which involves the management of patients referred from Rheumatology, Orthopaedics, A&E and Employee healthand well-being. We also have a large self referral (GP ) service. This is an integrated service which includes First Contact Practitioners and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners based on site and at a satellite clinic. You will manage a busy MSK caseload with supervising opportunities as well as support from more senior clinicians. The whole team are involved in service development.We work closely with the wider MDT and our GP colleagues. There is an expectation that all staff will contribute to the weekend Orthopaedics rota.
The department assesses and supports patients referred from secondary care Rheumatology andOrthopaedicsas well as our busy GP self referral service. The post is based in the hospital setting and a satellite clinic nearby. A structured training programme is provided by our MSK Service which includes regular training, clinical supervision within small groups and departmental peer review. Our team offers learning opportunities with MSK triage, student supervision, leadership, research and education.
We work closely with the Employment Health and Wellbeing service and you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of this team. We are developing links across our MSK departments within MFT and this has created exciting learning opportunities and shared learning.
