Job Introduction


Huntingtree Primary School is looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant, with experience of supporting a student with a visual impairment, to join us from September 2024 to form a vital part of our team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an excellent Specialist Teaching Assistant who puts the needs of the children first
  • has experience of working with students within a primary setting with a visual impairment
  • enjoys new challenges and adapting to the ever changing educational landscape
  • supports others and shares effective practice
  • likes to have fun

Key Information

  • Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 6.5 hours per day, 39 weeks per year
  • Grade 6
  • Contract: Fixed Term until August 2025
  • Location: Huntingtree Primary School, Huntingtree Road, Halesowen, B63 4HY
  • Closing Date: 7th July 2024
