Specialty Claims Adjuster FI / PI / Cyber

This firm is looking for a Claims Adjuster, Professional Liability, Financial Liability and Cyber. This position reports to the Claims Manager and is located in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate information on coverage, liability, and damages to determine extent of exposure to insured and company.
• Directly and closely monitor assignments to experts and defense counsel.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build longstanding relationships with insureds, brokers, and partners.
• Communicate coverage positions to insureds.
• Set and monitor reserves within authority.
• Report to reinsurers and other insurance partners.
• Support business leaders on an as-needed basis on claims and underwriting related issues.
• Attendance at mediations and trials, as necessary.

Skills, Experience and Education

• Four to six years' experience as Claims Adjuster in London market.
• Specific experience in handling financial lines and cyber claims.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and systems, including ECF.
• Strong relational skills, particularly in adverse or high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience of working with Lloyd's/Lloyd's certifications a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills; ability to deal with customers and business partners in professional manner.
• Ability to make prompt, intelligent decisions based on detailed analysis of complex issues.
• Start-up nature of company necessitates willingness to adapt as needed to help team.
