Specialty Doctor in Orthodontics

*The post holder will be expected to be competent at providing all aspects of contemporary orthodontic treatment and be able to work independently at delivering this treatment. All clinical staff are accountable and responsible for their own clinical competence and should limit their activity to that which is deemed to be within their competence. *Where consideration can be given to modifying treatment plans this must be done in consultation with the orthodontic consultant in the department *The post holder may also be asked to provide the continuation of treatment of selected cases that were previously undergoing treatment with another clinician or partial treatment in conjunction with the Consultant Orthodontist. *The post holder will be expected to follow the treatment plans devised by the consultant orthodontist.
