Job description

, Successful applicants will have a job plan identical to the current post-holders which includes clear demarcation between clinical duties and protected SPA time. The contracted duties are for 44 hours (11 sessions), of which 9 sessions are DCC and 2 are SPA. There is no on-call commitment., , The current rota is 1 in 4 weekends (either 9am-5pm or 5pm-1am) and nights. You will be required to work one evening shift during the week. Being an independent practitioner carrying their own caseload with access to consultant advice and support. On the night shifts you will be expected to be the senior decision maker as well as look after their own patients, , Due to the flexible nature of the rota, there is ample opportunity to take study and professional leave as well as develop any special interests, and this is fully supported within the department and the Health Board. , , Main duties of the job, , Seeing a variety of case load mix of medical/ surgical/ orthopaedic and paediatric patients, we also have obstetric and gynaecology team on site as well as access to maxillo-facial, ENT and vascular across site and the Health board.  , , The successful applicant will be expected to make senior clinical decisions as well as be involved in practical skills to deliver high patient care., , Working for our organisation, , If you relish a challenge, have a passion to help others or simply fancy a fresh start, then Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB)  North Wales, has all the right ingredients.
