The Role
Our client is now seeking a Specification Technologistwho will ensure that all retailer specifications and related paperwork are completed on time, in full, with a right first-time approach.
You will write clear retailer specifications, complying with regulations and customer requirements and approve artwork and packaging designs, aligning with brand guidelines. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather information for specifications and review and maintain accurate
documentation. You will work closely with the Quality Systems team to review supplier specifications using Hamilton Grant and support any customer audits, e.g., BRC, PIU etc
This role is based at the company’s offices in Northamptonshire, with an agile working pattern, including working from home 2 days a week.
About You
For this position, we are looking for someone with 1 – 2 years FMCG experience, writing and updating specifications for UK retailers accurately and possessing working knowledge of their systems.
You possess strong attention to detail and organisational skills, ability to multi task and are a good team player. Artwork and packaging design experience is a plus. A genuine and real passion for food would be a distinct advantage.
