Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

Location: WF1, Wakefield

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide training and education to students' families/caregivers and other professionals.
• Work collaboratively with professionals from various disciplines to meet students' needs.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or related field.
• Registration with a professional body.
• Previous experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to individual student needs.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
