About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a passionate and dynamic Sports Coach to join us as a Cover Supervisor for various Secondary Schools in Catshill and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in Sports Coaching and a desire to support students in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging sports sessions to secondary school students.
- Provide cover supervision for classes during teacher absence.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the overall development and well-being of students.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour.
About the school
We work with established Secondary Schools, who endeavour to support and nurture staff both staff and pupils. The schools enjoy having motivated and adaptable staff in their school who they can welcome back on a regular basis.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Sports Coach you will:
- Qualified to a degree level.
- Previous experience working with secondary school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
- Flexibility to cover a variety of subjects during teacher absence.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years.
