A fantastic Specialist School in Newbury that caters for students with social, emotional and mental health are looking for a Sports Graduate to help engage their pupils, with a particular focus on physical activity and outdoor education.

This Specialist School provides support to children aged 5 to 16 who have a range of learning and behaviour needs, as well as social, emotional and mental health challenges. The school have small class sizes, and follow an alternative curriculum, so have a big push on sporting activities and outdoor education. This helps to build the pupils confident, team work skills and communication.

The school are looking for someone who can use their sporting background to help the students both in and outside the classroom. You will help to manage the pupils behaviour, ensure their wellbeing is looked after and that they feel safe and secure being in school. This is a school where no two days are the same, so you need to be high energy, bubbly and ready for a challenge!

The successful Sports Graduate will come from a sporting background, with either a Level 3 or Degree. Experience working with children would be beneficial, but personality and willingness to help others is most important! This is an excellent opportunity for a Sports Graduate interested in a career in youth intervention work, sports coaching or mental health.
