Nine Twenty Technology are currently working with a leading developer of insolvency software solutions & they are currently looking for a SQL Developer to join their team here in Glasgow.  As a business, this software solutions provider has been established for over 40 years, boasting a strong UK client base and an expanding international reach. Responsibilities

• Managing and developing SQL server versions from 2016 to 2022
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
• Experience with SQL queries, scripting, stored procedures, functions
• Identifying and resolving performance issues, bottlenecks, and optimizing queries
• Design and implement T-SQL code to support cloud applications/solutions
• Carry out SQL data management requests and provide database support for clients
• Designing and delivering of a variety of business intelligence and reporting solutions using both MS SQL and modern (BI) tools, technologies and methods.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree
• Proven years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role
• A solid understanding of database security and data protection
• Hands-on experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Report and Dashboard development experience with Power BI, showcasing a good understanding of DAX and Power Query
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell preferred)
• Critical thinker and a team player
• Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
