My client have experienced huge growth in the last couple of years and are in the midst of moving from start-up to a very sizeable company, with a one of a kind product that is definitely at the forefront of its industry.
This is your chance to work on a one-of-a-kind, hugely data driven product and it has absolutely disrupted its industry. Having already built a team of some of the most brightest, smartest Engineers in the local South Yorkshire area.. we're now after more Engineers to join them to be a part of their evolution .. First up, a SQL Server Development expert.. This is where you come in!
They operate within an incredibly complex sector, so you'll need to be the sort of Dev who can think fast and work smartly.

So, their highly scalable product is built mainly around the NodeJS ecosystem and this is the foundation of their applications. Whilst it is NodeJS backend, its allied to SQL Server and this role is truly about writing complex business logic in the SQL Server database. So the primary skill, for this particular role is SQL Server Development writing Stored Procedures using SQL. I don't need you to be a Node expert, by any means - although it would be beneficial for you to understand how data flows from Node to SQL Server.. Identifying issues debugging them and focusing purely on Stored Procedures.
You'll not only bring top-notch technical capability to this role, but you'll also have the ability to steer technical direction… Sometimes make those decisions that are crucial to the business and ultimately the overall success of this platform! You'll be a seasoned, confident and knowledgeable Engineer… At the top of your game… No drama, no nonsense. You'll be a real thinker who can investigate how to get the best of the databases and then implement the solution.
They're not standing still when it comes to tech - the roadmap includes AI, chatbot and product 2.0 rewrites.

In return you'll receive up to £70k based on your exposure. You can work from their offices close to Sheffield or fully remotely. You'll need to spend some time at the office whilst getting embedded into your new role, but following that - you can work from home if you wish.
