Responsibilities :
  • Involved in resiliency and scenario testing, assessing the adequacy of the required response and recovery actions for important business services within the bank
  • Developing appropriate scenario test plans for each important business service identified
  • Creating testing plans against a range of scenarios to identify resiliency gaps such as: corruption, deletion or manipulation of critical data; unavailability of facilities or key people; unavailability of critical third party services; disruption to other market participants; and loss or disruption of technology underpinning important business services
  • Providing a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Exercising judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Identifying vulnerabilities and suggests remediation activities
  • Leading small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • Providing guidance and mentorship for colleagues with less experience
  • Responsible for leading the delivery of Operational Resiliency testing to assess whether an Important Business Service can remain within Impact Tolerance during a severe but plausible disruption.
  • Collaborating with senior management to improve their business functions resilience provisions
The ideal candidate will have a fair amount of the following qualities:
  • Relevant experience in operational Resiliency Testing
  • Knowledge of operational resiliency including disaster/business recovery, business continuity management, corporate risk policies and standards
  • A background in operational and IT practices including integrated testing
  • Demonstrated understanding of risk management practices including cyber security and how they apply in Financial Services"organizations including the impact of regulation on operational resiliency matters
  • Demonstrated understanding of data analytics and related tools including Power BI
  • Proven experience working in a collaborative environment
