The Sr. Facility Engineeris responsible for design, planning, construction, safety and maintenance of grounds and building infrastructure (structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.). This may also include process infrastructure/systems, depending on the site or operation.
What you’ll do:
- Manage coordination and modification of building space - space design standards, allocation, modifications, moves and expansion.
- Conducts facility inspections and equipment condition assessments to determine necessary modifications, including repair work and replacements / capital improvements.
- Responsibilities include predictive, preventive, and proactive maintenance analysis as well as designing and implementing long-term continuous improvement applications and systems.
- Enhance facility reliability and infrastructure specific elements of quality system compliance.
- Document and report issues to provide a safe and reliable facility.
Who you are:
- 8 or more years’ experience in a site construction management role managing projects circa £10million/£40million.
- Degree in mechanical or construction related subject area OR relevant industry certifications/qualifications.
- Experience managing new construction projects/builds for production/manufacturing or industrial clients.
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams.
- Ability to generate and maintain detailed and assembly dimensional drawings utilizing CAD software. AutoCAD preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical and or chemical Engineering
