Amazon Shipping offers Amazon’s delivery capabilities as a product and service. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the EU, offering to ship their domestic volume using our delivery network.
Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced leader to join the Strategy & Integration team in the the EU Customer Expansions space. You will be a natural self-starter who is able to translate the long term vision for Amazon Shipping and Product requirements into operational program plans that help the EU business target new customers and new business enablement. This will require a true hands-on approach, solid stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication skills.

You will be part of the core team that will be building the Amazon Shipping Operations network and systems optimization strategy and implementation plan across all EU. You will help design and shape the Amazon shipping product, engaging and influencing multiple Ops stakeholders to build a shipping service provider which our customers love.
You will have a true hands-on approach, understanding of operations, solid leadership skills and the ability to build and leverage relationships across a wide range of stakeholders As this position involves regular interaction with senior leadership (Directors, VPs), you need to be comfortable communicating robustly at that level whilst also working directly with various functional teams and team members at all levels of the organization across the Amazon business.
Key job responsibilities
  • Lead the EU SWA Customer Expansion and New Product enablement roadmap from an Operations perspective, including defining key operating models for geographies and/or demand channels.
  • Key partner for SWA Product Management, SWA Tech, Partner Customer/Internal Demand teams, ATS SNDI, ATS NPI, and GTS TNC. Thought leader in the operations expansion space. Be the advocate and influencer of the business with partner teams and stakeholders.
  • Improve key operational metrics by building new processes and partnerships with the Biz, Product and Ops teams.
  • Support the launch of Amazon Shipping in new countries and new market segments both internal and external from an E2E operations perspective.
  • Develop structural plans and routines to ensure all strategic and tactical programs are being delivered on schedule and to the standards expected.
