Overview

          As a Senior Production Front Line Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all major productivity projects. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing cost, line efficiencies, waste reduction, health and safety, productivity, quality, food safety, and consumer risk protection.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver results though cross-functional teams, internal departments within Pepsico Romania also with external links to diverse sources of support – suppliers, contractors , administrations;
  • Collaborate with the Shift Production FLM to improve the performance on product, process, people (technical skills), or equipment problems that arise;
  • Periodically performance meetings with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams;
  • Support the implementation of new product initiatives or developing the existing ones.
  • Develop action plans for KPI’s under target;
  • Continue improvement the data basis for monitoring the beverages KPIs;
  • Initiate and drive productivity projects;
  • Supervises and ensures that all activities are completed according to the production plan and provide suport in finding solutions;
  • Supervises implementation of all necessary repairs and maintenance programs and keeps the equipment in good working condition;
  • Is authorized to define priorities connected with maintenance repairs and collaborates with maintenance and other departments in assuring the maintenance staff;
  • Participates and is proactively involved in activities related with developing new products on the line, installing new equipment and insures that a proper feed back is sent to the correspondent department that leads the activity ( Engineering, Project Manager);
  • Daily close communication with the Shift Production FLM for evaluation and review of all systems implemented in the production (Quality/Food Safety/Maintenance/Health and Safety);
  • Actively participate in daily shift meetings and contribute/commit on the deadlines agreed with Planning and Reporting Department;
  • Drive and coordinate beverages improvements according with Marketing agenda;
  • Drive value engineered solutions by direct contact with Suppliers, and expert knowledge from both within and outside the industry;
  • Involved olso in areas like: Budget and KPI, Sustainability, Maintenance, Innovation and improvement, Reporting and QCDM Process daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • First degree or equivalent in a science or engineering related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 -5 years previous product/process development and program/project management experience;
  • Excellent understanding and application of business knowledge across the broader business environment;
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with ability to influence at senior levels within the organisation;
  • First class presentation skills (written & verbal);
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to interpret complex data and distil into useful and actionable information;
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues/solutions to a non-technical audience;
  • Cultural sensitivity/flexibility in responding to different cultures;
  • Self-starter, self-motivating - able to deal with uncertainty and complexity.
