Job Description
- Cultivate and maintain robust working relationships with customers across all levels, expanding connections to drive future revenue.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing all aspects of the engagement.
- Effectively resolve and manage decisions that pose a threat to the customer relationship, whether they are technical, operational, commercial, or related to Program Delivery.
- Lead and oversee the delivery of large projects and/or portfolios.
- Continuously enhance the process for Program Delivery through ongoing development and improvement.
- Identify, negotiate, and reach agreements on changes to work scope or risk management, employing change management practices with stakeholders.
- Identify solutions to address weaknesses or capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Provide event support upon request, which may involve national or international travel.
- Attend annual Performance Management and Review Meetings, establishing annual objectives and a Personal Development Plan (PDP).
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstrated success in spearheading product Program Delivery across extensive or multiple projects within the Manufacturing sector.
- Ability to adjust to dynamic environments and adept multitasking capabilities.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate timing and cost plans.
- Possesses strong commercial leadership and negotiation skills.
- Capable of influencing outcomes with customers at the peer level.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office and preferably Project.
- Accountable for managing and supervising directly supervised staff, involving tasks such as holiday authorization, sickness management, communication, conducting performance reviews, and overseeing staff training and development.
- Responsible for implementing the company's Health & Safety policy.
- Informally mentors non-program management staff in program management.
- May occasionally involve international travel.
- A person who thrives in a "start-up" working culture, demonstrating adaptability to changes and a willingness to operate in ambiguous situations.
