About Our Client
Our client is a leading company in supply chain management with global coverage positioned in the Top 50 Freight forwarders worldwide.
With plans to streamline their resources our client requires an SSRS Developer - Contract to join a small experienced Information Technology Team within their London office.
Job Description
As the SSRS Developer - Contract, you will be responsible for:
- Compile user requirements and specifications for reports
- Design, create and test reports using SSRS
- Validate report functionality with internal staff/end users
- Respond to users to troubleshoot and/or improve existing reports
- Working with customers through a customer partner to develop new report requirements, changes to existing reports, and verify their results
- Collaborate with internal QA on customer acceptance testing
- Other duties may be assigned as needed by management
The Successful Applicant
The successful SSRS Developer - Contract, will have:
- 5+ years of BI/Reporting experience with MS SSRS suite of tools
- Advanced experience and knowledge of T-SQL, Microsoft SQI BI Tools (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS), Microsoft SQL server 2014/2016/2019 database platforms
- Experience of Tableau, Power BI, Python, Java or any MS Programming language desirable but not essential
- Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 including, but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, Power Point
- Excellent analytic, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills
- Initiative-taker who self-assesses and solicits feedback from others to improve their performance
- Effective communication skills
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and work flexibly
- Logical and methodical thinker
- Full Driver Licence Required

This role is a rolling contract, offering day rate, flexible working:
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am- 5.00pm (1 hour lunch)
Location: WFH within M25 area with flexibility to work
