Stable Hand and General Gardener

Hay Carr is located in a peaceful yet convenient location surrounded by rolling countryside, with the Forest of Bowland visible to the East.

Our client is now looking for a Stable Hand / Gardner to assist with the upkeep and care for the horses and the stable site and also to assist the Head Gardener with general work

Experience / skills / characteristics:

• Experience with horses, young event horses is a must
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and passion for horses required
• Must be confident lunging, riding and handling young horses

Duties:

• Animal Care - assistance with routine with Donkeys, Sheep, Goats, Hens
• Role entails normal stable duties
• Will manage the stable yard, tack room
• Assist the Head Gardner with general gardening duties

This is a full-time role (hours and days are to be agreed upon, but flexible days are required for the care of the animals.
