What are we looking for?
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Cardiac Cath LabStaff Nurse to join our Cath Lab team, with a competitive salary range on offer, up to £45,000 depending upon experience.
This is a Monday-Friday, Days role with the following shift patterns: the unit is operational from 07:30 – 17:30, so you will work 3 long shifts and 1 half shift per week, with a 6 week rota averaging out at 37.5 hours per week.
You will also be required to work on-call; an average on 8-10 shifts per month, this varies depending on staffing, patients etc.
The post holder will be required to perform clinical duties as a scrub and circulating Nurse across a range of specialities throughout the invasive labs, this includes the Cardiac Catheterisation and Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology Lab and the Hybrid theatre.

We have 3 Cath Labs supporting our Heart & Vascular Institute in providing the entire spectrum of Cardiac Interventional procedures, including Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiology.
What will your duties include?
- Provide high standards of individualised nursing care for patients by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care.
- Provide advice and education to patients, ensuring they are actively involved in their plan of care and recovery.
- Able to assess and recognise emergencies
- To act as an advocate for patients at all time
- To communicate in a professional manner at all times with patients, visitors and fellow Caregivers
What we need from you?
- Nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) required.
- Ability to speak and write in English is required.
- Previous/current experience of working as a scrub and circulating nurse in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting essential.
- Competent in/have had exposure to the use of electronic clinical systems (EPIC, similar modern clinical systems) desirable
