We're on the lookout for a skilled Polyglot Staff Engineer to work closely with the Director of Software Engineering, orchestrating the development and management of a thriving marketplace platform which has huge financial backing. As a linchpin on the technical team, your role extends beyond coding. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring seamless technical execution for new features and marketing initiatives. Your expertise will be the guiding force behind the technical trajectory, embedding best practices, and igniting innovation within the core platform.

Day-to-day you will be involved in defining and steering technical direction, offering technical guidance, mentorship and collaboration with tech leads and working alongside product managers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in a Staff Engineer or technical leadership role, navigating complex software projects, particularly within marketplace environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle intricate technical challenges, leading the team toward innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts with precision and clarity across various stakeholder groups.
