Job description

When considering a move to a Start Up, candidates have questions like 'will this firm succeed' and 'tell me about the management team.'

Our client's management team have done it all before, building their last company to an £80m revenue business from scratch.

This time, they have built an AI/LLM-powered data solution that is set to change the face of risk and controls for every major bank. Banks can see how effective their data is, explore gaps/errors and build better functions off the back of this. The potential is huge. In the past 6 months alone the team has grown from 25 to 35. The client demand is there.

We're looking for the brightest and most forward-thinking graduates with between 2-6 years of experience that have spent time working with ideally banks; if not banks, then they will have an appreciation of what makes a large bank tick and how it is structured.

We're looking for someone who can get into data and analyse whilst also able to come up with presentations for senior management within banks; what do the results show? How might this impact the structure of the bank's organisation? What can we do to help? This is a highly commercial role, using data. One big difference to working in a consulting firm/bank vs. this is the seniority; you will have the chance to work with stakeholders that generally a Senior Manager/VP or Director would be managing. The opportunity is there for there for the right person.

We are looking for:

1. Entrepreneurs and change-makers - who can passionately support banks through change

2. Bright and energetic analytical skills - an ability to bring a growth mindset to problems and be curious about results/what is and isn't working

3. Ambitious and caring people - you care about your career and taking on bigger and different tasks as the firm grows

4. (desired) A passion for technology and building something that will change the face of banking

5. (desired but definitely not essential) Time spent across areas of risk, control or data - half of the management team had not worked in risk and control before they joined this firm!

Currently the firm operates a '3 days in the office' policy Mon-Wed with flexibility for the rest of your time. This could move to 2 days in the future.

All joiners get significant equity in the firm on top of their base salary. This will increase year on year.
