Hours: 37 hours per week, 9 – 5, Monday to Friday, Remote Working/ Flexible working

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Statistical Officer to join our team based in Stranmillis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in survey management and data analysis. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Blaise software to create and tailor survey questionnaires in electronic format.
- Transfer survey workloads to interviewers using Blaise software.
- Manage survey fieldwork/data collection, ensuring progress aligns with response targets.
- Monitor and ensure high data quality standards by checking electronic data submitted by interviewers.
- Implement coding and editing of data systems and validate data as required.
- Calculate response rates, considering individual case circumstances.
- Conduct briefings for interviewers to disseminate survey information and client expectations.
- Ensure adherence to data delivery timetables as per the survey schedule.
- Produce a monthly Quality Assurance dataset for the customer.
- Respond to queries from the public, interviewers, customers, NISRA colleagues, and ONS staff.
- Liaise with the Admin Team to oversee diary processing.
Essential Criteria:
- Degree level education in a Statistics-related field.
Experience:
- Analyzing statistical datasets in SPSS or a similar statistical package.
- Writing reports based on statistical data.
Skills:
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to engage with a wide audience, including interviewers and customers.
