About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate experienced with Statutory Data returns, to lead on key returns here at the University of Sussex, including the HESA Data Futures, Initial Teacher Training and Aggregate Offshore returns. You will work closely with colleagues within the wider Student Data and Records department on the returns, as well as key stakeholders from across the institution to ensure the returns are produced with a high level of accuracy and to deadline. At manager level in a business critical role you will be able to have a significant impact here at the University.
About you
You will be a self starter, quick learner and have the ability to develop strong working relationships with a variety of different colleagues in different functional areas. Some prior knowledge of Higher Education Statutory Data Returns is essential for the role. Additionally, you will have the ability to assimilate complex information from a variety of sources to carry out work activity such as ensuring that, in partnership with IT services colleagues, the system infrastructure is adapted in line with any updates to the returns as communicated by HESA.
