Steel Fixer Acton

Randstad are currently seeking a Steel Fixer, assisting with the installation and fixing of steel reinforcement within concrete structures. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the structural integrity and strength of buildings and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and bend steel bars to specified dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Install and secure steel reinforcement bars in concrete forms using wire, clips, or welded connections.
• Ensure proper alignment and spacing of steel bars according to project specifications.
• Assist with the lifting and positioning of heavy steel components using cranes or hoists.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• A valid CSCS Card
• Proven experience working as a Steel Fixer in a construction or related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and tools used in steel fixing.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in steel fixing work.
