What does it involve?
Each summer, Stafford House Study Holidays welcome over 6000 international, young students (aged 8-17) from all over the world. During their 7-14 day stay, we provide a vibrant activities and excursions programme, alongside stimulating English language lessons in the classroom. It's a great opportunity to work with a range of ages, levels of ability and students from a multi-cultural environment.
This role focuses specifically on STEM, teaching our students within our carefully selected syllabus and guidelines. Part of the role may include helping to prepare STEM course related excursions.
Locations: Cambridge, Central London & Northampton
Dates: 30/06/2024 - 28/07/2024
Hours: 15-30 hours per week over 5 days
Pay: £44.00 per hour (plus holiday entitlement) which includes preparation and marking

Some of what need to become part of the Stafford House Teaching Team:
Essential:
You must have Qualified Teacher Status (WTS) in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
Educated to degree level in a science-related subject
Genuine interest in the teaching and welfare of young students
Desirable:
Teachers should have a degree or equivalent and have Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert. TESOL *DELTA/ DipTESOL or equivalent MA qualification desirable
Experience of working in an EFL Summer School
Experience in an EAP teaching environment
Experience of working with young learners
