Job description

Stock Administrator
Temporary
York YO41
Full-Time 37.5 hours per week
Up to £22,000
My client are currently seeking a motivated individual to provide comprehensive administrative support as part of a busy Stock team. Working with clients as well as Directors, Managers and Engineers to assist in the smooth operation of the business.
Responsibilities:
Receive goods from suppliers
Check the goods for damage
Adhoc administration duties
Organise storage as necessary and maintain a clean and tidy environment
Store goods and deliveries in a safe and organised manner
Maintain stock records
Book stock out to contractors and adjust stock records accordingly
Report stock levels to the Project Manager on a regular basis
Skills required:
Excellent customer service skills
Competent using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
The ability to work with an organised, methodical approach
Ability to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the company
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
Commitment to confidentiality and data protection
