We are partnering with an established third-party logistics company, who are looking to recruit a stock/admin clerk for their vibrant team in Swan Valley. This is a great opportunity for anyone who possesses skills within stock control and has a good understanding of the end-to-end logistics process.
Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for a range of duties, covering all aspects of workflow and stock management on behalf of the site’s customers - by providing functional support across key warehouse areas. These areas include Goods In, Production, Put away, Replenishment, Picking, Despatch and Returns.
Duties:
- Dealing with transport/carrier bookings and queries (inbound and outbound).
• Daily submission of customer manifests in line with SLA requirements.
• Waving of customer order volumes in a timely manner to meet customer SLA
requirements.
• Setting up and actioning stock transfer requests to optimise stock availability and
resolving stock issues.
• General administrative/clerical duties to support the warehouse operation team e.g.
exception management, holiday booking, etc.
• Assist in resolving customer queries and resolution through the Customer Service team.
• Production admin - including production of labels, stock allocation, specifications,
costings, etc.
• Completion of control measures/checks across all areas of the warehouse operation to
ensure that customer KPI’s and SLA’s are met.
• Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies, taking appropriate action to
investigate, correct and record the event using Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Monitoring and investigating adjustments made on site in a live environment.
• Carry out audits and compliance tasks.
• Participate in customer stock takes and reconciliation processes.
• Report potential risks and aid loss prevention (theft or damage).
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Stock Administrator or similar role
• Excellent understanding of supply chain procedures
• Working knowledge of inventory management software
• Active participation in inventory audits
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload
• Understands the importance of team working and supporting others
