Role Overview: As a Stock Analyst, here’s what you’ll be doing:
Stock Replenishment Analysis: Delve deep into stock replenishment needs, stock management, and purchasing requirements. Your insights will guide the ordering process.
Product Performance Management: Analyse product performance throughout its lifecycle. You’ll also oversee clearance and end-of-life product processes.
Supplier Forecasting: Develop forecasting methods for our suppliers, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
Sales Pricing Updates: Keep our system up-to-date with renewed sales pricing.
Demand Forecasting: Establish robust demand forecasting processes to meet customer needs effectively.
Market Insights: Monitor competitor products and industry trends. Use this information to identify market opportunities and shape our product strategy.
Master Data Ownership: You’ll be the guardian of our “master data” within the Procurement and Innovation teams.
ERP System Enhancement: Continuously improve our ERP system to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Statistical Insights: Apply statistical techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets, especially related to supplier pricing.
KPI Monitoring: Keep an eye on key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress toward business goals for both Procurement and Innovation.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or BI.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication (both written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
