Stockman/Tractor Driver

H Burton & Son is a progressive beef finishing unit and contract baling business based near Retford, North Nottinghamshire.
Role
• Part time, typically 2/3 days a week
• Full time over the harvest period, potentially including weekends
• Tractor and telehandler driving
• Cattle handling using modern cattle handling facilities
• Hesston and mini-hesston baling
• Hesston bale carting and stacking
• Yard cleaning and muck carting
• Relief TMR feeding/mechanised bedding
• Machinery maintenance
• General farm and yard work
Key Requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• Experienced tractor/telehandler driver
• Comfortable working with cattle
• Good workshop skills
• Confident working independently
• Good attention to detail
There is potential to accommodate the applicant’s other commitments outside the harvest period.
