Salary- Perform daily routines of feeding and bedding.
- Collect genetics from some of the world’s highest-value bulls.
- Clip and wash bulls for regular photographing and classification visits.
- Provide regular health care and foot trimming.
- Conduct routine health testing of bulls for early detection and treatment.
- Support the movement of bulls into and out of the stud.
- Manage isolation facilities for bulls entering the stud.
- Maintain up-to-date records.
- Support the upkeep and maintenance of all equipment used within the stud.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety protocols for a safe working environment.
- Advocate biosecurity principles and ensure visitor compliance with company rules.
- Collaborate with other Genus staff as required.
- Previous experience in livestock management.
- Familiarity with biosecurity principles.
- Interest in and enthusiasm for the agricultural industry.
- Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Certification in livestock management.
- Proficiency with basic software applications.
