Salary: Up to £50,000 Depending on Experience

As our Storage Infrastructure Engineer you'll be part of a team of technical experts delivering, managing and developing managed hosting services 24/7 from infrastructure through to operating systems. The role will require you to be responsible for assisting with the technical delivery of all iomart managed hosting customers and product development.

As a Subject Matter Expert you'll be the final point of escalation internally and will liaise with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and resolve issues as quickly as possible and with minimum customer impact.
- Have experience supporting SAN storage platforms, such as Unity or Powerscale
- Have iSCSI and Fibre channel SAN experience
- Have switch configuration and troubleshooting experience using Cisco MDS / Brocade Fibre channel switches
- Have experience in fibre channel zoning though CLI
- Have excellent fibre connectivity troubleshooting experience
- Have an excellent understanding of file and block level storage
- Are familiar with VMWare and / or Hyper-V
- Have an excellent understanding of VLANs and VLAN configuration
- Have basic network troubleshooting skills
