THE ROLE:
To support and drive sales in partnership with your team by supervising all daily selling activities and leading the sales team. As a Store manager you will be responsible for modelling outstanding customer service and driving sales through coaching, training and communicating policies and procedures. As a Luxottica ambassador you will understandand bring to life the Luxottica characteristics and the Sunglass Hut culture.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
· Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
· Achieve high levels of sales performance and results
· Coach associates to consistently deliver effective selling behaviours resulting in high customer engagement
· Ensure all operating policies and procedures are followed at the highest level to include merchandising and store presentation, timely and accurate implementation of approved marketing initiatives
· Play a key part in asset protection training and reporting
· Ensure accurate operation of the POS system and account for all transactions (cash, credit, returns)
· Open and close the store according to established guidelines
· Address associate concerns in a reasonable and fair manner consistent with the Company values
· This is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be requested to perform any other duties deemed reasonable by your line manager
THE INDIVIDUAL:
Ideal candidates will have:
· Strong selling skills – preferably with 1-1 sales experience
· Excellent communicator – ability to initiate contact and communicate confidently. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
· Ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced, sales driven atmosphere
· A positive can-do attitude, an individual who can work well with minimal supervision
· Customer obsessed
· Ability to embrace new technology and change with high level of accuracy
· Flexible approach, required to work on rotational shift basis, including weekends and Bank Holidays
