Job title:Store Supervisor – Energetics
Location:Glascoed, South Wales (Onsite role)
Salary: £42,132
What you’ll be doing:
- Controlling the receipt, storage and issue of incoming material and ensuring that it has appropriate paper work and is handled correctly in regard to Legal compliance
- Ensuring locating and retrieving incoming material & weekly cycle counting is completed
- Ensuring that stock records of material are kept up to date (SAP)
- Liaising with external haulage companies to ascertain accurate delivery information
- Ensuring that incoming material is maintained under correct storage conditions and the correct handling, stacking procedures are applied
- Confirming that all magazines adhere to Explosive Regulations 2017 & ensure all personnel are working within SP-BMD-GD-407
- Ensuring operators have in date licenses. Organising & arranging for Stores operators to attend compulsory training courses – FLT, HGV, Manual Handling, ITAR
- Allocating daily tasks to Team Leaders
- Authorising Personnel Leave/ PMT
- Organising shift planning & overtime
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Forklift Truck license
- Experienced working in hazardous areas & understanding building explosive limits, licencing & legal requirements of Stores buildings, FLTs & HGV movements
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft packages and confident to use
- Excellent communication skills
- Good experience managing a team
Desirable:
- Good understanding of SAP
- HGV licence – Prepared to drive the Site Heavy Goods Vehicles

The Stores Supervisor:

You will ensure stock quantities are correct & comply with building licensing requirements and legal responsibilities at all times.
