Storekeeper

An opportunity has presented itself to join the team at our Percy Main, North Shields Depot as a Storekeeper.

You will be responsible for general storekeeper duties in an engineering parts environment, including but not limited to:

• Goods Inward and Outward
• Stock Checking
• Housekeeping
• Parts Identification
• Keeping the stores as efficient as possible

Other duties include:

• Using the Oracle, Nexala and Outlook system to order, monitor requisitions, issue parts and communicate with suppliers.
• Manage Service Exchange and Warranty process.
• Monitor parts trends for high and low usage and adjust accordingly.
• Contact suppliers and internal staff to ensure correct part numbers are achieved.
• Arranging collection of Parts
• Control of fuel, oils, Antifreeze & Screen-wash stocks levels
• Assist in Health & Safety Inspections

Positive and flexible approach to problem solving. Computer basic literacy is essential. Stores experience preferred, however training will be provided for a suitable candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
