Damicor are actively recruiting for a Stores Manager to be based Airside at Heathrow Airport.
Duties:
- To undertake works in connection with issuing of stores materials and the maintenance of stock condition and availability, placing orders, tracking order progress and receiving/distribution of goods.
- Development and maintaining of records relating to goods in and out.
- Development and maintaining of records relating to stock held including inventory of materials returned from completed projects and proactively seeking opportunities to utilise surplus materials in a cost effective manner.
- Development and maintaining of records relating to plant and equipment in and out in-line with the company’s policies and procedures and Legal requirements
- Distribution of PPE and maintenance of PPE register.
- To ensure all stock records are kept accurate and live at all times on our company bespoke software.
- To carry out deliveries and collections of materials when required, to and from
- Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate.
- Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damage and quantity.
- Follow-up for items on back order to ensure delivery is fulfilled and duplicates are not ordered.
- Update computer systems to record accurate stock levels.
- Complete regular stock checks and inventory – Daily mini stock take and quarterly full stock take
- Driving around the airport jobs to distribute tools when required (vehicle provided)
Skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Good levels of verbal and written communication skills.
- Good domestic Electrical product knowledge
- Electrical wholesale experience would be beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to conduct stock audits.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and use a range of digital packages
