We are currently seeking a talented and proactive Stores Manager to join our longstanding engineering client. The Stores Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials to support our production projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the team.

Key Responsibilities of the Stores Manager:

• Manage all aspects of the company's inventory and materials management function.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of components and equipment.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records using inventory management software.
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite materials and arrange deliveries as required.
• Conduct regular stock takes and audits to verify inventory accuracy.
• Train and supervise staff to ensure adherence to best practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably industry related.
• Strong knowledge of engineering components, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
