Our client, a very well-established and market-leading manufacturing company, is currently recruiting for a Stores Manager to join their Stores team. The Stores Manager will be responsible for the development of the Stores team and Accountable for the management, resource planning and ensuring process compliance at all times in Goods Receiving, Inventory Management, Kitting and Logistics between two sites.
Responsibilities for the Stores Manager
- Supervise the team activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity and internal customer service.
- Clearly communicating issues and opportunities at stores to Operational management in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish KPI's are in place to drive efficiencies and maximise resource utilisation, assess KPI's routinely for their effectiveness while exploring opportunities to raise the performance bar
- Oversee and manage logistics for transporting product between our facilities, communicating with drivers to ensure efficient delivery and/or collections
Key Skills & Experience for the Stores Manager
Essential
- Experience managing teams within Stores
- Experience working within an Electrical production environment
- Full UK Driving License
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
