Job Title: Stores Operative
Location: Reading
Contract type: 6-month fixed term
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Inventory Clerk to join our team. You will have prior experience in the warehouse environment and excellent maths skills for balancing records.
Key Responsibilities – Stores Operative
- To support inventory control in Central Stores and Despatch
- Managing all the parts or products, including recording new items in.
- Maintaining and updating records
- Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock
- Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
- Distributing or stocking merchandise
- Receive and inventory stock
Key skills and experience – Stores Operative
- Proven work experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role
- Excellent maths and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- PC skills
