Start: Asap.
Pay: £11.50 p/h- to increase with NLW up to £12.50 p/h.
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-17:30.
Our client based in Cheltenham have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Operative to join their team on a 12-week temporary-permanent basis!
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and have worked in a factory environment before and have an in-date Counterbalance FLT license.
In-date Counterbalance license & safety shoes will be required for this role.
Main responsibilities:
- Unloading & loading lorries & containers.
- Manoeuvring parts to & from the production department.
- Manoeuvring & placing stock into the required locations.
- Palletising.
- Shrink wrapping.
- Receiving incoming deliveries.
- Support with dispatching finished orders.
- Support with warehouse/factory duties when required.
- Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages.
- Keep stores area tidy and free from obstruction.
Candidate attributes:
- In-date Counterbalance FLT license essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role essential.
- Previous experience in a similar working environment desirable.
- To be flexible when required to support with warehouse/production functions.
- Can work efficiently and within a timely manner.
