SalaryJob Duties:
- Assist shipping and receiving with unloading trucks and checking in stock
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer
- Assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, dust, and mop. Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
- Assist in managing the warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Ensure efficient space utilization.
- Coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
- Stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Produce reports and statistics regularly.
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a Stores environment
- Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Be able to lift and move stock
- Attention to detail
- Flexible
- Able to adapt to a varied role
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm
- Friday 7am to 1pm
- With the potential to move over to a late shift if required.
