About your new role
Monday to Friday
Day Shifts
The main duties of this post are:
- Issuing materials from stores as required.
- Keeping receipt of materials from stores as necessary.
- Driving, loading/unloading of vehicles.
- Operating a forklift truck.
- Using the company computerised stock control system.
- Raising of purchase orders as permitted.
- Serving Engineers with material at a counter service.
- Booking materials from external suppliers as required.
- Allocating and storing of delivered goods.
- Expediting of Purchase Orders as necessary.
- Stock-taking as required.
Qualifications
Applicants must be able bodied as the role will involve lifting and moving parts and must be in possession of a FULL driving licence, with a sound knowledge of computer packages. Staff may at times be required to work unsupervised and must therefore possess the relevant initiative and drive to work on their own
