Stores Technician- Warehousing and Inventory

Job title: Stores Technician- Warehouse and Inventory.                   

Location:  Mallusk

Hours:  8:00-4:30pm Monday-Friday, 39hr week

Duration: Permanent

Salary:  £22-26k depending on experience

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Store Technician on behalf of our Client, a global service provider.

Reporting to the Area Manager, the Warehousing and Inventory Technician will support the team in all aspects of the business. Full training will be given however previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Duties include:

•           Receiving goods inwards

•           Stock / Cycle Counting

•           Deliver the day to day operations of the Stores

•           Deliver the agreed metrics to support the benchmarking of site

•           Carry out customer/site specific requests in line with contractual agreement

•           Ordering of consumables

•           Other ad hoc duties

You will need:

• SAP, Ariba, etc experience an advantage but not essential
• Fully Computer Literate with good attention to detail - knowledge of MS software packages (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) would be an advantage
• Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
• Fluency in English an essential     
• Adaptable and Flexible Approach with a can-do attitude and an ability and willingness to learn     
• Confident in dealing with Clients and vendors
• Ability to handle engineering queries from the engineers
• Knowledge of engineering parts an advantage

Salary is negotiable depending on skills and experience however we expect a salary between £22 and 26K. The organisation has a reputation as a great place to work with many long serving members of staff and a great range of benefits.
