Zenith People are representing our client who are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Stores Person to operate their inhouse Maintenance Management Computer System and work within their Fast-Moving Manufacturing Stores Department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stores-person to develop their career and make a significant impact within the existing Stores Department. You will be responsible for booking goods in/out and keeping an accurate inventory of the stores to ensure all parts are in stock for the Maintenance Team as well as being given the opportunity to develop a new Engineering Stores system.
We are interested in hearing from candidates who are enthusiastic and can bring their own ideas to the business.
Responsibilities
• Booking goods in/out using in house Maintenance Management System - Must be computer literate & have previous experience working with similar systems/packages. Implementing and updating the Maintenance Management System is a key part of the role.
• Stock taking
• Loading and unloading
• Preparing jobs and/or materials for manufacture/production
• Organising and controlling sub-contracted work
• Storing and filling up consumables such as cleaning products and other engineering stores
• Organising overall and PPE storage and replacements
• Carrying out tasks required by the management
Person Specifications
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential - Busy engineering stores background preferred
• Must be computer literate and able to work on Maintenance Management Systems (or similar)
• Good attention to detail
